Every part explained
The Client Guide
The facts about a client: what can be said, what stays private, and questions for you.
The Client Guide is everything we know about the client, as a list of short facts. Every campaign is written from it, and public posts only ever say what it allows.
Making it
- Add material in Files (documents, notes, links).
- On the Client Guide tab, press Create guide. It reads everything and writes the facts. About 10 minutes.
- It also looks the client up online and adds what it finds, marked Found online, for you to check.
Questions
Where something's unclear, missing or private, it asks you. Each question has tap-to-answer suggestions, or type your own. Then press Update guide to fold the answers in (about a minute).
Each fact shows
- Can say publicly, Direction only (guides the work but isn't said), or Needs a yes first.
- Where it came from.
- Ask about this if you're not sure it's right: it becomes a question.
- Edit or delete it. Deleted facts never come back.
Approving
When nothing that blocks approval is left, press Approve guide. Campaigns use the approved version. If you change it later, you approve the new version, and campaigns already running keep the one they started with.
Adding more later
Drop new files in Files and press Update guide. Only the new material is read.
Tip: Notes you give during campaigns that correct a fact ("we're in Paddington, not Milton") come back here as questions, so the Client Guide keeps getting better.
